Early Life and Background

Al Maula Mulla Mamuji bin Ahmed Shah (A.Q.) lived during the era of Syedna Abdeali Saifuddin R.A. He resided in Sardhar, a village near Rajkot City. Known for his compassion and generosity, he was an anaaj (grain) merchant who used his wealth and resources to support Mumineen and the Dawat. His character reflected both spiritual devotion and practical service, making him a respected figure in his community.

Khidmat and Barakaat

Aap Saheb’s spiritual presence and service have left a lasting impact. Thousands of Mumineen still visit his Qabar Mubarak in Sardhar to offer prayers and seek blessings.

In 1856, Saurashtra faced a severe shortage of anaaj and water. During this difficult period, Al Maula Mamuji Saheb personally ensured that Mumineen received sustenance for seven years. He directly distributed anaaj, money, and other essential supplies, demonstrating both practical care and spiritual dedication.

Personal Meeting with Syedna Abdeali Saifuddin R.A.

To serve the Dawat and meet the Dai, Al Maula Mamuji Saheb traveled from Sardhar to Surat. During this visit, he presented a ship as a Hadiya (gift) to Syedna, which later miraculously turned into Jaweharaat (jewels) through the blessing of Syedna.

Syedna Abdeali Saifuddin R.A. acknowledged and blessed Al Maula Mamuji Saheb’s khidmat, appreciating both his service and devotion. This encounter became a significant milestone, highlighting his loyalty, humility, and proactive support of Dawat activities.

Legacy in Sardhar

Al Maula Mamuji Saheb’s efforts continue to benefit Mumineen today:

  • Seven Mumineen households in Sardhar are blessed through his prayers and barakaat.

  • Two Shaheedo Ni Ziyarat and one Masjid commemorate his spiritual contributions.

  • His Mazaar Mubarak includes a playground for children, rooms for visitors, and dedicated khidmatguzar to assist Mumineen during their visits.

His life is remembered not only for material support but also for inspiring devotion, faith, and service among Mumineen.

Final Resting Place

Al Maula Mulla Mamuji Saheb (A.Q.) is buried in Sardhar, under a Chhatri on his Qubba Mubarak. Nearby are the graves of Maa Saheba and Bawaji Saheb, making the site a significant place of spiritual reflection and blessing for the community.
