Early Life and Education

Maulaya Nooruddin (A.Q.) was born as Roopnath. During the reign of Imam Mustansir Billah A.S., he traveled to Misr (Egypt) to gain Islamic knowledge and ilm.

He was accompanied by Maulaya Abdullah (A.Q.) [Balamnath, Madfoon-Khambat] and others. In 467 H., he arrived in Gujarat, where he continued his spiritual journey alongside Maulaya Abdullah and Maulaya Ahmed (A.Q.).

Dawat and Spiritual Service

Maulaya Nooruddin (A.Q.) traveled towards Deccan to propagate Dawat. He established a center in Paithan, where he spent two years teaching and guiding Mumineen.

He was known for his high spiritual status and karamaat, which helped spread the light of faith in the Deccan region. His guidance brought spiritual enlightenment to countless Mumineen.

Wafaat and Mazaar

Maulaya Nooruddin (A.Q.) passed away on 15 Moharram. His Urs is observed on 11 Jamadil-Ula.

His Mazaar Mubarak is located near Dongam, close to Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The site has undergone significant renovation and beautification, creating a serene and spiritual environment for visitors.

Visits by Doat Mutlaqeen

  • Syedna Hebatullah Moayyed Fiddin R.A. (1182 H.) visited and performed 40 days of Ziyarat.

  • 42nd Dai Syedna Yusuf Najmuddin R.A. (1207 H.) visited and supervised the Qubba’s construction.

  • Syedna Taher Saifuddin R.A. visited multiple times.

  • Al Hayyul Muqaddas Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Aqa (RA) visited 5 times.

  • In 1440 H., 24 Rabi-ul-Awwal, 53rd Dai Syedna Aali Qadar Mufaddal Saifuddin (TUS) visited Dongaon for Ziyarat.

These visits highlight the spiritual importance and continuity of guidance associated with Maulaya Nooruddin (A.Q.).
