Early Life and Legacy

Shaikh Dawood Bhai Saheb (QR) was a revered figure in Dawat and community guidance. His life is remembered for the blessings and Mannat granted to Mumineen at his Mazar.

  • Mumineen visit his Mazar to fulfill personal mannat such as marriage-related prayers or children’s blessings.

  • The Mazar’s atmosphere is described as peaceful and spiritually uplifting, located near the Dariya Kinare (seashore) in Ghogha.

Mazar Details

  • The Mazar Mubarak includes:

    • A Qubba and Masjid

    • Playground for children

    • Qabrastan

  • Mumineen also use the grounds for recreational purposes like cricket, combining spiritual and community activities.

  • His brother, Mulla Yusufbhai, is buried near the Qubba, just below it.

Visits of Dawat Mutlaqeen

  • 15 Shawwal al-Mukarram 1188 H: 40th Dai, Syedna Hebatullah Moayyed Fideen (RA), visited Ghogha from Surat by ship.

  • Hijri 1435 H: 53rd Dai, Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (TUS), visited Ghogha and blessed the Mazar.

  • 2 Jamadil-Akhar 1439 H / 17 Feb 2018: Syedna Aali Qadar Mufaddal Saifuddin (TUS) visited Ghogha, performed Ziyarat, and blessed the Mazar with ducks and rabbits, enhancing the spiritual environment.

Adam Masjid – Spiritual Significance

  • Following the visit of Syedna (TUS), Ghogha’s first mosque in India was named Adam Masjid.

  • Historical importance: 28th Dai, Syedna Shaikh Adam Safiuddin (RA), had visited Ghogha in 1188 H.

  • The mosque continues to serve the community, providing spiritual guidance, blessings, and social welfare.

Community Impact

  • Mumineen receive spiritual guidance, blessings, and support at the Mazar.

  • Community activities include Roti making, Maawaid distribution, and providing employment opportunities.

  • The Mazar is a hub for Ziyafat, Waaz, and spiritual learning, with outreach to surrounding areas like Bhavnagar.
