He hailed from a household of khidmat, being the son of Maulaya Malik Q.R., and was known for his exemplary character, gentle temperament, and unwavering loyalty to the Duat Kiram.

Today, his qabar mubarak rests in the serene courtyard of Mazar-e-Qutbi, Ahmedabad, a place of barakat visited by Mumineen year-round.

During the zaman of Syedna Yusuf Najmuddin R.A., Miya Raajan Q.R. travelled from Hindustan to Yemen—a long and difficult journey in that era. This trip itself shows:

  • His zeal for acquiring Fatemi ilm

  • His readiness to sacrifice comfort for khidmat

  • His dedication to remain close to the Dai’s hazrat

He stayed in Yemen for a long period, remaining in the auspicious presence of Syedna Najmuddin R.A., learning, serving, and strengthening the roots of Dawat.

Return to Hindustan & Khidmat Under Two Duat

After his Yemen sojourn, he returned to Hindustan and continued his khidmat under:

  1. Syedna Jalal Shamsuddin R.A.

  2. Syedna Dawood bin Ajabshah Burhanuddin R.A.

Miya Raajan Q.R. served both of them with full ikhlaas, discipline, and devotion. His presence was a source of strength for Dawat, especially during times of administrative challenges and expansion of Dawat activities.

His role as a senior hudood earned him respect throughout the Jamaats of Hind.

A Member of Hudood-e-Akremeen

Historical zikr describes Miya Raajan Q.R. as belonging to Hudood-e-E’zaam, meaning:

  • Powerful in ilm

  • Great in his spiritual rank

  • Magnificent in character and akhlaaq

  • Strong supporter of Dawat

Resting Place – Qabar Mubarak in Mazar-e-Qutbi, Ahmedabad

8th Jamadil Ula, 986 H

His qabar mubarak is located at the highly revered Mazar-e-Qutbi in Ahmedabad, in the courtyard (sehn). This blessed maqam is visited by Mumineen for:

  • Barakat in rizq

  • Dua for peace of heart

  • Fulfillment of needs

  • Strength in khidmat and imaan

The spiritual atmosphere of Mazar-e-Qutbi carries the silent testimony of many hudood who dedicated their entire lives to Dawat-e-Haqq.
