Early Life and Inspiration from His Father

Syedi Dawood Bhai Saheb A.Q. was the son of Syedi Abdul Qadar Hakimuddin A.Q., a renowned aalim and Dai-khidmat-guzar. Throughout his father’s life, he remained by his side, learning the adab of Dawat, humility, and the importance of serving Mumineen.

Even during travels and Dawat responsibilities, his respected father would take him along, so that he could experience ground-level khidmat and understand the depth of responsibility carried by the hudood of Dawat. This early upbringing shaped his personality with hikmat, discipline, and compassion.

Khidmat Under Three Duat Mutlaqeen

One of the most remarkable aspects of Syedi Dawood Bhai Saheb’s life is that he served three great Duat Mutlaqeen:

  1. 39th Dai Syedna Ibrahim Vajihuddin R.A.
    – Resting in Ujjain
    – Syedna Vajihuddin R.A. elevated him to the rutba of Mukasir due to his ilm and excellent khidmat.

  2. 40th Dai Syedna Hebatullah Mo’ayyed Fiddin R.A.
    – Also resting in Ujjain
    – Under this Dai, Syedi Dawood Bhai Saheb rose to even higher prominence.
    – Syedna Mo’ayyed R.A. conferred upon him the esteemed honor of Mazoon-e-Dawat-ul-Haqq.

  3. 41st Dai Syedna Abdul Taiyeb Zakiuddin R.A.
    – Resting in Burhanpur
    – Syedi Dawood Bhai Saheb continued to serve with dedication, preserving the spiritual and administrative responsibilities of Dawat.

Serving three Duat is a unique sharaf—showing his unwavering loyalty and trust earned within Dawat-e-Haqq.

Reviving the Rusoomaat of Dawat

As Mazoon-e-Dawat, Syedi Dawood Bhai Saheb A.Q. played a significant role in keeping alive the rusoomaat, sunnat, and traditions of Fatemi Dawat.

His responsibilities included:

  • Guiding Mumineen in matters of ibadat and daily life

  • Supporting the Dai in administrative and spiritual decisions

  • Teaching ilm and propagating hikmat among followers

  • Ensuring that Dawat activities in Hind remained strong and well-organized

Wafaat and Resting Place

Syedi Dawood Bhai Saheb A.Q. passed away on:

9th Jamadil Ula 1173 H
1760 A.D.

He is buried in Qubbat Najmiyah – Ujjain, a resting place of great barakat where many hudood are laid to rest.

Mumineen visit his qabr mubarak to seek:

  • Dua for fulfillment of needs

  • Barakat in rizq

  • Shifa from difficulties

  • Strength in imaan and khidmat

His maqbara is filled with sakoon and spiritual noor, reminding visitors of his lifelong dedication to Dawat-e-Haqq.
